Whenever it hits mid-January, I find myself battening down the beauty hatches. I feel ‘flumpy’, all pasty skin and (after excessive festive binging) altogether too much of it. This is the month that my beauty regime becomes closed off: budgets, time & inclination mean my pampering occurs only in the privacy of my own home. I spend this time prepping to hand myself back to the professionals in February once things are in better check.
In keeping, this weeks 3 shop drop focus’ on brands with the ultimate in home spa products; a line up of reviving little winter skin wonders that will soothe, boost and restore – making bathtime a ‘work for me time’. You can’t argue with productive pampering now, can you? Especially when it’s saving you money on costly spa breaks (until next month that is…. 😉
A Dutch brand I discovered whilst working at Beauty Seen PR with an interesting philosophy: to transform daily rituals into more meaningful moments. There’s something uplifting in the belief that happiness can be found in the smallest of things, whilst the products themselves have never let me down.
Why not bring the spa home to you? The thing I love about Elemis is the SMELL – open just one product and you’re immediately transported to a cocooned zen of relaxation. A little more of an investment but I think it’s money genuinely well spent.
A homegrown British brand I had the privilege to work with during my early beauty PR days. Liz Earle packaging is less luxe than other brands but the quality of formula inside and the price more than make up for it. Trusted by an army of followers, every beauty cabinet should hold at least one Liz Earle product.
