3 ways to wear the embroidered top

Ashling wears: Zara embroidered top; hush boyfriend jeans; & Other Stories pumps (similar style here).

This season’s collections are bursting with joy – ok, I sound like old granny Maud, but it’s true. With an eclectic mix of bold, modern colours and bohemian artistry, the latest styles are looking fresh, youthful and well… happy! The embroidered top is the stand out example: delicate stitching on crisp cotton, vibrant threads on frilled sleeves… all combined it’s basically summer in a blouse. I mean, how can you resist?

If you’re a true haute hippie, then you’re in for a treat; an embroidered top worn with sandals and a flowing maxi equals one holiday wardrobe sorted. However, for something a little less boho, there are plenty of options. You could go all out, head-to-toe detail à la Gucci – awesome conversation starter in the Tesco queue – or simply throw on your boyfriend jeans and heels. If you’re after a bit more inspiration, then look no further…
