BECCA x Chrissy Teigen: the hottest beauty collab of the summer

I won’t lie, there are MANY things I’d like to steal from Chrissy Teigen – wit, humour, a to-die for body, her husband John Legend… (ahem). But the thing I’m most jealous of? The woman’s AMAZING skin. She always looks flawless, she always looks glowing. Damn her.

Clearly there’s some good genetic sequencing at play here, but you can’t deny that the girl’s got bronzing skills. So imagine my delight when I found out that she’s collaborated with top makeup brand BECCA Cosmetics to produce a limited edition BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette – out TODAY no less. Hello, stuff of beauty dreams.

BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette, £49 from 1st June at Space.NK –BUY!

The palette low down? Four warm, lush, sultry shades hand-picked by Chrissy (naturally) to achieve her luminous sun-kissed lustre. What I love most? The fact the colours are totally wearable, with a perfect summery shade range to suit a multitude of skin tones: two Shimmering Highlighters (Rose Gold & Beach Nectar), a Sunlit Bronzer in Malibu Soleil (think all-day at the beach bronze) and a Luminous Blush in Hibiscus Bloom (golden coral-pink).

Just looking at it makes me want to book a seriously hot holiday…

3 more exciting makeup collaborations to watch out for this year

If you want to nab yourself a piece from the Jean-Michel Basquiat collection for Urban Decay you’d better be quick. Created posthumously in collaboration with the legendary graffiti artist’s estate, the 3 palettes (housed in mini reproductions of Basquiat’s artwork), 3 liners and 3 lipsticks are also available together in a presentation set aptly named The Vault.

2. the fashion designer: L’Oreal Paris x Balmain Paris

Expected to land early September, the L’Oreal Paris collaboration with Balmain will see twelve new iconic Color Riche Lipsticks split into 3 key colour themes designed under the watchful eye of creative director Olivier Rousteing. The 3 star shades will be available as limited jewel editions at the Balmain Paris stores and are guaranteed to be the hot sell-outs.

3. the celebrity superstar: VB x Estée Lauder

Following the mega success of her 2016 makeup line debut with Estée Lauder, Victoria Beckham launched the beauty world’s equivalent of a cruise collection in February this year with promises of a full second collection to arrive in stores September 2017 (to coincide with Fashion Week season). Little has been heard since, but watch this space…
