the best audio books for kids of any age

They always sit this still, honest.

Haven’t the summer holidays felt…. long? We got back from our holidays in Week 2 (HELP ME!) and the mad juggle between chores/admin/work and kids and the age-old battle of how to occupy them without constantly resorting to technology took over.

When we were glamping in France we hit upon the genius plan of playing them audio books – but not just in the car. We were staying in a eco cabin and when they were bored/tired we discovered that they would – miraculously –  lie on their bunk-bed together and listen to a story CD together. And so I’ve kept up the tradition at home when I’ve wanted an hour to myself. Here’s my selection of must-listen audio books to buy or download now. Prepare for instant peace!
