There’s been a lot of chats in the last week about Christmas being just for the kids. Now, I’m not disputing that the trips to see Santa, outings to the yearly panto, and abundance of chocolate is predominantly for our children, but I am not about to surrender up all the magic. I love Christmas and, if truth be told, I probably get more excited about Father Christmas’ imminent arrival than my two girls. For our household, it’s all about bringing everyone together and actually spending quality time under one roof; turning off from work, popping the fizz, playing old school board games, embracing the schmalz – including the Hallmark channel’s flurry of seasonal movies – and snoring by the fire.
But I also LOVE indulging in a little dream gifting. As I trawl sites and stores for the ideal presents for family and friends, I can’t help but draw up my very own wish list… you know, in case anyone might want to treat me (aka buy it for myself) And so this year, I’m sharing with you a few things I’ve been ogling…
